Wow. No wind forecast, but that didn't fool me - the sun was out and the trees were moving so raced to the beach for about 5.30pm to discover 5.7m weather. Managed to rig the Jet properly for once and had a cracking sail despite trying some longer harness lines (which was interesting and not wholly pleasant).

Some miserable git tried to dampen my enthusiasm by complaining abou the lack of wind on the waters edge. my reply was to spring a very tidy 'almost' table top off the second wave I encountered. Up yours buddy, I'm going to have a good time.

Towards the end of the session I got thrown off a duck gybe so hard I thought my eyeballs had been pushed out of my ears. Not sure what went wrong, but I supsect I was dawdling with the rig flip. Called it a day shortly after.

Best session this year.
